How KOL.tools checks information
Show the source before the conclusion.
KOL.tools starts with a small set of widely recognized products, assembles profiles from vendor public sources, and does not pretend to have independent tests or a large review corpus.
Four lines we do not cross

No invented pricing, customer counts, scores, testimonials, or capabilities.

Unknown information stays unknown; it is not rewritten as “feature unavailable.”

Vendors may correct facts; they cannot buy organic order or KOL.tools conclusions.

Buyers are told to confirm current pricing, quotas, and contract terms with the vendor.
How Most Clicked ranks tools
The metric is “Unique eligible outbound CTA clicks measured by KOL.tools”—not likes, votes, users, conversions, buyer intent, or a quality score.
What counts
Only vendor-site CTAs on approved organic surfaces count. Page views, profile opens, inbound via visits, and evidence-source clicks do not.
Unique counting
The same Cloudflare-observed IP counts once per tool per UTC week. Raw IP addresses are not written to application tables.
Explicit exclusions
Sponsored direct clicks, later vendor clicks attributed to Sponsored, and vendor clicks after entering from the leaderboard never count.
Public timing
Snapshots update at most hourly, eligible events wait at least 60 minutes, and tools below 5 receive no public rank or exact score.
Evidence levels
A profile may claim only the level actually completed.
KOL.tools profile · Public sources
KOL.tools assembles the summary from vendor websites, product pages, public pricing pages, and documentation, and shows when it was last checked.
Vendor correction
A vendor submits a specific field and public support. Accepted facts may change; KOL.tools review does not transfer to the vendor.
Independent test
Used only after a reproducible workflow and test environment are recorded. No unfinished hands-on score is shown as evidence.
User evidence
Summarized only when the source and sample boundary can be explained. The directory does not show star ratings without a review sample.
How to read page labels
Pricing
Shows whether a free plan, trial, paid plan, contact-sales offer, marketplace fee, or open-source option exists. It is not a live quote.
Last checked
The date the current public-source summary was assembled, not a claim that a full product test happened that day.
Ready-made comparison
A workflow distinction organized from vendor public information—not an independent test or universal winner.
Sponsored
A separate paid homepage position, labelled and isolated from organic order, Most Clicked, and comparison conclusions. Checkout opens only after the profile and slot are confirmed.
Ownership and update policy
Maintained by the KOL.tools team; questions and corrections can be sent through the listing form.
Inclusion threshold
A product must directly support a creator or influencer workflow, have an accessible public product page, and map to a concrete task. Payment cannot bypass this threshold.
Updates and staleness
There is no promised refresh cadence yet. Each profile shows its assembly date; buyers must confirm price, quotas, and contracts with the vendor. Material corrections update that date.
Commercial interests and changes
The commercial product is one clearly labelled homepage Sponsored position: the tool profile and slot are confirmed independently before a $99 checkout for 30 live days. Payment stays unavailable until production payment verification is complete. Any future affiliate link will be disclosed where it appears.
