Methodology and commercial disclosure

Name the evidence before the judgment.

KOL.tools is currently an editorial directory built from public information—not a ratings platform pretending to have a large review corpus. Every page should make its evidence boundary visible.

Four lines we do not cross

  1. 01

No invented pricing, customer counts, scores, testimonials, or capabilities.

  2. 02

Unknown information stays unknown; it is not rewritten as “feature unavailable.”

  3. 03

Vendors may correct facts; they cannot buy organic rank or editorial conclusions.

  4. 04

Buyers are told to confirm current pricing, quotas, and contract terms with the vendor.

Evidence levels

A profile may claim only the level actually completed.

Public sources

Vendor websites, product pages, public pricing pages, and documentation. Most current profiles begin at this level.

Vendor correction

A vendor submits a specific field and public support. Accepted facts may change; editorial judgment does not transfer to the vendor.

Independent test

Used only after a reproducible workflow and test environment are recorded. No unfinished hands-on score is shown as evidence.

User evidence

Summarized only when the source and sample boundary can be explained. The directory does not show star ratings without a review sample.

How to read page labels

Pricing entry

Signals free plan, trial, paid, contact sales, or marketplace fees. It is not a live quote.

Profile date

The date the current public-information summary was assembled, not a claim that a full product test happened that day.

Scenario comparison

A workflow distinction organized from vendor public information—not an independent test or universal winner.

Sponsored

Paid visibility that must be labelled and separated from organic order and comparison conclusions.

Ownership and update policy

Maintained by the KOL.tools editorial desk; questions and corrections enter through the submission desk.

Inclusion threshold

A product must directly support a creator or influencer workflow, have an accessible public product page, and map to a concrete buying job. Payment cannot bypass this threshold.

Updates and staleness

There is no promised refresh cadence yet. Each profile shows its assembly date; buyers must confirm price, quotas, and contracts with the vendor. Material corrections update that date.

Interests and change record

The only current commercial product is clearly labelled Sponsored placement. If affiliate links are introduced, they will be disclosed where they appear. Material method changes update this page date.

Found an inaccurate fact?

Send the exact field, corrected information, and a public source. Editorial judgment remains independent.
